A somewhat extroverted girl was seen as she made her way through the mall, a small bag of books hanging from her wrist as she sipped on a banana-Oreo smoothie. To speak the truth the female disliked shopping but she guessed it was passable when she went alone to get what she sought, bought a smoothie and left soon after. This time was different though. She needed to buy a present for a friend of hers and she had no idea to buy for her. She sighed softly as she neared the food court, hoping she could sit down and rest for a second. She presently possessed of dark purple hair with platinum highlights and bright grey eyes that seemed to express her every emotion. She was clad in a long sleeve pink shirt with a high neck. A black short sleeve shirt was over it with her name, Emireth, written in the front of it with white letters. Baggy cargo jeans sheltered her legs and pink converse were upon her feet as handcuff shaped ear rings. She smiled as she noticed a male sitting by himself and neared him lightly, noticing his seemingly dour mood. Hi, mind if I join you? She said lightly, offering some of her smoothie questioningly, most didn’t like drinking after people. |

Quentin had been staring at the floor, recalling all that had happened only moments prior to where he was now. His trance-like state was only broken when he heard the voice that had to belong to a female. His gaze shifted over to her and he rose an eyebrow slightly before he answered. "Uh... Sure..." He sounded a little uneasy but this was only because he preferred to be alone. But... he knew that he should be nice to girls, especially the ones that were younger than him. If a guy had just randomly come up to him, regardless of age, he would have probably told them to buzz off. Isn't he just a nice guy? At the offering of the smoothie though, he shook his head. He wasn't exactly comfortable with the thought that the girl had probably been drinking from it beforehand. The swapping of germs/spit just didn't appeal to him.

Emireth smiled lightly as she took the seat that was in front of the male. Hi, my name’s Emireth. She said lightly, introducing herself. So… if you don’t mind me asking, what brings you to the obnoxious little establishment they dare and call a mall. She said the last mumbling, making it obvious that she disliked the small trip to the mall. Emireth tended to be a friendly female yet sometimes people tended to dislike her for being outgoing or plain blunt. It wasn’t her fault she was honest. Was it? |

"Quentin..." He replied with probably the fakest smile he had ever pulled. He knew how to appear friendly... even if he wasn't feeling like he was. He chuckled slightly as he heard the last part of her sentence. It seemed the girl had a dislike for the mall as well. "Well, I was trying to get some new clothes... I was kicked out, though... I suppose I could have gone downtown instead..." Why hadn't he thought of that before? Downtown! Of course! There were clothing stores there, right? He mentally kicked himself for being so ignorant.

Nice meeting you. She said with a small smile, the female just didn't know how to be any other way, unless her temper was messed with, then she seemed to change too abruptly. Some even teased her saying that she had some bipolar tendencies. She tended to ignore such coments though. Yeah some are quite prissy. Was kicked out myself during Easter. Not my fault the Easter Bunny was tackleable though... She said lightly and with a small shrug. She had fun that time and the Easter Bunny took no offense so there shouldn't have been a reason for her being escorted out. She sighed softly and shrugged. Down town is slightly better I guess, still dreadful though. She commented lightly. She, herself preffered to stay home than to go out shopping, it was such a waste of time, yet this trip had been necessary for her. |

He arched an eyebrow at her comment. Tackling the... Easter Bunny? It wasn't something that he'd think of doing, but that would have probably been interesting to see. "Well... That's new... I've never seen anyone attempt to tackle the Easter Bunny... Quentin was a little oblivious at times, so it was no wonder that he would have missed something like that. Then again, he hardly came to the mall as it was, especially before, during, or after holidays. He shrugged his shoulders after she had spoken again. "The stores there probably aren't quite as uptight as the ones here." He didn't really know if this fact was true or not, but the downtown area was a tougher neighborhood, to say the least. He did know that for a fact though, considering that he lived in an apartment downtown.

It was... quite an experiance to say the truth. Still upset about being escorted out but seeing the guard control room was fun.
She said with a light shrug. She could find the sun light in every situation. That was just the Emireth way of handling things. I guess you could be right. I don't really know for I have never compared. My shopping trips are more of a "get out, get what you need, come back". Don't really put much attention if you know what I mean. Do you think they might have something there for an overly serious girl? She asked lightly, the description obviously being of some one else. She was just still thinking on the birthday present and still had no idea what to get her. It was frustrating to say the least. |

Angelus, his wandering self, was exploring the mall. He arrived hungry, and went directly to the food court, and grin set on his face as the aroma's of the court were taken in. His eyes were bigger than his stomach at the moment and he knew it, he ordered some teriyaki chicken and grabbed a fork. He recognized the female from school and sat at the table near her. He didn't bother to speak, for one he didn't know if she had seen him at school, and the fact that he was so hungry, sent a mouth full of chicken into his face. He was not one to talk with his mouth full. Once he did the standard 'chew and swallow' he figured he would speak but he didn't want to interrupt their conversation, and stuffed more chicken into his mouth. He was making excuses because he was the shy type, and being hungry was the perfect alliby.
His haze gray eyes, scanned the court, and grew large when he saw all the different foods he had to choose from. "I can live with this.." He said to himself, noting the many foods and nodding a bit. Ofcourse American asian food was a bit different than REAL asian food but he would manage. His eyes shifting back to the girl he smirked a bit at her overheard comment and he was afriad the little laugh that came out, grabbed her attension.

Emireth looked at the male that had laughed and smiled lightly. Hey! I wasn't really talking about me, just about a friend who's too serious and I can't get a birthday present for. She said with a solemn nod, that coming from emireth it was anything but solemn. To say the truth she wasn't sure to what of what they said to make the male laugh but being that the last words that left her mouth had been about the birthday present she just continued it like that. Emireth wasn't very shy to say the truth. I'm Emireth by the way. She said lightly smiling lightly and waving. She was extroverted to say the least. Emireth wasn't one that really looked around her when she walked by school, being that she normally had her earphones over her ears and seemed to be singing to herself as she walked. |

Angelus slowly swallowed and looked behind him, to make sure she was waving at him, With a smile and a nod he spoke,
"Angelus, and i dont make it a habbit to interrupt other's conversations.." He said, extending his hand to shake hers. He was not asian, but his adopted father was, it was custom to bow but he knew he would have a better shot at befriending this girl if he just shook her hand, people here didn't behave as they did in Hong Kong. Angelus' eye shifted around in thought of Emireth's problem..."Give her money and tell her you love her?" He said with a smirk and then fixed the gender error, "Or him." He said. Angelus stopped smiling, "But seriously, can you go wrong with shoes?" He said kicking his own, feet around, he lovededed, this pair for some reason.
