After Jon had turned his back to her, she dropped her cigarette, where it was extinguished in a puddle on the ground and bent forward to pick up the ring from the ground. She stared at is for a moment and when she had heard Jon offer Sammi a ride she looked up. She then threw the ring, aiming for the back of Jon’s head. And she hoped that it had hurt. If he could easily throw their relationship away, so could she. She glared at him before she slipped her own ring off from her left hand and put it into one of the pockets on her jacket. She could always pawn it in for money if she needed to, but she would most likely just keep it. She didn’t give up everything all that easily. Maybe just Jon.

After a moment of glaring, she turned back to Leo who was bent over a bloody puddle of water. She figured that the source of the blood was probably his nose. She edged closer to him before she set a hand on his nearest shoulder. “Are you alright, Leo?” She asked a little hesitantly. She already knew that he probably wasn’t alright, considering what had just happened. Kelsey really didn’t know any ways that could help to stop Leo’s nose from bleeding except for what he was already doing. And she didn’t want to recommend that he should pinch his nose, just in case it was broken.

“I hope it does,” She said as he was observing his hands. “It’s a good thing that it’s raining… you have your very own hand washer, where ever you go.” She would have laughed at her own comment if she hadn’t been feeling all that down about what had just happened. When Leo had spoken again, she replied, “Well, I wouldn’t exactly say that you fucked things up more than I did…” She had lost not only her fiancé but also a good friend. Leo was probably just losing an ex-girlfriend that he didn’t have anyways. Kelsey sighed and patted his shoulder softly before she removed it. She then turned a little and leaned against the door of the school and slid slowly down to the ground. She brought her knees up to her chest and rested her hands on top of them. “What’s the point of love… it never seems like it lasts…” She said quietly, more to herself than Leo, but she knew that he had heard her. She was staring blankly down at the ground as she thought of how bad things had turned out in only minutes.

At her first comment he couldn't help but chuckle a little. Getting tired of feeling blood run down the bottom of his face he gingerly examined his nose with her fingers. Findind it not broken he sighed with relief, it hurt really bad and would be sore for a while but it wasn't broken and that's what he was worried about; broken noses tended to heal at odd angles. Digging into his pockets he pulled out a kleenex that he carried around for his allergies. Ripping it in half he rolled each half then shoved one up each nostril to soak up the blood. Slowly he straightened up and then glanced over her arching a brow. "You fucked things up? Nah, I was the one who kissed you...you were just seduced by my British charm. Talking about my Britishness, how do I look?" He laughed since he knew he looked ridiculous with tissue sticking out of his nose. Pushing himself off the wall he moved next to Kelsey and then sat down next to her his knees to his chest as well, reaching over he slipped his arm around her shoulders and lightly carresed her left shoulder with his left hand. "It does...unfourtanetly...though Damian's love borders on obssession." He chuckled a little before leaning over and kissing her softly. His lips caressed her own expressing the sincere affection he had for her. Drawing away he leaned his head back against the door and let his eyes slide shut. Idly he thought back ot the flurry of things that had happened in the last five minutes.

Kelsey looked up from the ground when Leo had spoken to her. She laughed a little when he had said that he had seduced her with his British charm. It was somewhat true; the other part was that she just liked him for who he was. With or without the Britishness; it was only a bonus. When she had heard his question, she raised an eyebrow slightly. “Uh… like a British guy with little white things in his nose?” She said with a smile and she turned towards him as he was sitting down. When he had placed his arm around her shoulders and had lightly caressed her shoulder, she leaned slightly towards him. It was… strangely comforting. She moved her right hand from her knee and brought it over to his and she began to lightly tap her fingers against it. She watched them for a moment before looking back to Leo when he had spoken again. She arched a brow at his statement. But, it lowered when he had leaned over and kissed her. Just from the simple kiss, she could tell that he at least liked her. After he had pulled away, she wanted to know a few things about what his previous statement. “Obsession? Okay… So, who’s this Damian guy, anyways?” She asked out of curiosity. She had never heard of him before and she had found out only moments before that he was Leo’s… boyfriend? Yeah, weird.

Her arched eyebrow twitched a little bit at his reply and her fingers continued to drum random rhythms on his knee. “I had no idea that you even had a boyfriend… much less an obsessive one...” She shook her head slightly so that she could forget the fact that he did have a boyfriend. Then she suddenly remembered the last part of his answer. “Wait… what do you mean… you don’t have a normal relationship?” Is there even such a thing as a “normal relationship” in the first place? She thought and she was mostly concerned about what her relationship with him was right now. As of now, all she knew was that she was basically cheating on Jon for kissing his cousin and for even considering the thought of being with someone else. And well, Leo... she didn’t know if he considered himself to be cheating on his boyfriend.

“Ah, okay...” She didn’t feel like questioning his relationship with Damian any further. She was kind of afraid of where the conversation might end up, considering the “open” part of the relationship. It wasn’t like she was all that interested in Damian anyways. He was just some other guy that she had met nor heard of before then. She turned her head away from Leo for a moment, watching the rain as it fell, and when she felt his hand in her hair, she looked back over towards him with a smile. Then, she thought of something. “Hey… I could give you a ride home… if you want…” She said as she used her right hand to rummage through a pocket on the same side for her car keys. It seemed that Jon had forgotten the fact that she, too, had a car of her own, since he always picked her up from school. “Though… I don’t really know if we could say that I live there anymore…” She sighed as she remembered when Jon had thrown his ring onto the ground. To her, it seemed that he had already thrown their relationship away right along with the ring. She issued another sigh at the thought and rested her chin on top of her knee, her gaze focused on a puddle of water on the ground.

When Kelsey had found her keys, she pulled them out of her pocket and kept them in her hand, shaking them so that the various key chains on the key ring hit each other and made an interesting clacking sound. As she had heard his… offer, she turned back towards him, with one of her own eyebrows arched. “I’m not even going to ask where you’ll be sleeping…” She laughed and shook her head. She had a funny suspicion that he would be in the bed, too. But, it wasn’t like she minded that, at all. “But, that’s okay. You just sleep… where ever you want to.” She smiled at him and patted his knee gently. It seemed like she was basically inviting him to sleep in the bed.

“I’m damn sure about that, you poor confused little British boy.” She patted him on the head as if he was a dog and she smiled at him again when he had kissed her cheek. “And you can take it as any offer that you’d like to.” She gave a slight smirk and raised her eyebrows suggestively. As he had started to stand up, she got to her feet, too. She didn’t feel like looking like a dork for just sitting there while he was standing up beside her. Once she was on her feet, she looked over at Jon and Sammi. They were a little… too close, for her liking. She didn’t see why she should really care though, so instead of looking at them again, she took Leo’s hand in hers and tugged it gently in the direction of her car. “C’mon… let’s… get home before they do.”

“I know exactly what I’ve gotten myself into, Brit boy.” She grinned up at him just to show him that she had a somewhat vague idea of what she had really gotten herself into. She also seemed to have adopted a little… nickname for him. Something she had never done for Jon. Nothing really… suited him. Except for maybe that “Wolverine” nickname; she would probably call him that from now on. At Leo’s words, she arched a brow and returned the gentle squeeze. “Well, I can’t wait…” She said with a smirk as they headed towards the car. When they had gotten to the car, she unlocked the driver’s side and released Leo’s hand before she opened the door to let herself in. After she had sat down, she reached across and unlocked the passenger door for Leo before she put the keys into the ignition and started the engine of the car.

She put her own seatbelt on after he had entered the car and she gave him a smile before she put the car in reverse and pulled out of the parking spot. As they left the school parking lot, Kelsey noticed that for the first time in a while that her left ring finger was bare. Her middle and pinky finger each had a metallic ring so the finger in between just looked… bare. She then shook her head to forget about it, but it was kind of hard to just forget something that had lasted a little over a year. She shook her head again and her attention back on the road. She glanced over at Leo, wondering to herself what it would be like to be in more than a friendship-based relationship and it made her smile for some reason.

Suddenly Kelsey remembered that her daughter was with Razi and Shawn. “Aw shit... I forgot about Roxanne…” She said aloud and sighed before she reached over into the side pocket that was on the door and she grabbed her cell phone. While she was at a stop light, she dialed the number to her brother’s cell before putting it to her ear. After a moment of ringing, Shawn picked up. “Hey, Shawn, it’s Kels. You and Razi wouldn’t mind watching Roxanne for say… a few hours, would you?” She asked him as she glanced over at Leo again with a smile. Shawn replied with his agreement. “Thanks. I’ll pick her up later. Yeah, yeah, I love you, too…” She rolled her eyes and shook her head slowly before she said bye to Shawn and hung up the phone. She put the phone back into the side pocket of the door just as the light turned green. She smiled over at Leo again as she started driving again.

Kelsey only heard the end of Leo’s conversation with Damian. And when Leo had hung up and had spoken, she looked over at him for a moment. “You have an… interesting boyfriend… He sounds a bit…” She paused a moment to come up with the right word to describe Damian. “…demanding and possessive.” Well, that was what she thought of Leo’s boyfriend but then again, she really didn’t know him nor did she want to. When she had felt his fingers trailing lightly along her neck, she gave a slight shiver and she couldn’t concentrate on her driving for a moment. She then shook her head to focus again so that she wouldn’t end up getting them into an accident. Kelsey glanced over at Leo and arched an eyebrow slightly before she smiled.

After a few more minutes of driving, they had finally reached Sunset Valley. She stopped at the gates that led inside and hit the button on the remote that opened them. Once they were open, she drove inside and headed towards the house. Then, when they had gotten to the house, she parked the car by the sidewalk instead of pulling into the garage. She never really liked the garage anyways and the rain was kind of like a free carwash. She turned the car off and just sat back in her seat for a moment before she looked over at Leo. “Well, uh… let’s… go inside,” She said with a sort of shy smile as she pocketed her car keys.
