Leading his girlfriend towards the Gardens, Mike smiled cheerfully. Last year’s prom designed by his sister was awesome, but he had to admit. The roses in the Garden were a lot nicer than the cheesy Hawaiian necklaces that they handed out last year. No offence to Sammi or anything. This year seemed so romantic. The atmosphere seemed to calm his nerves about his upcoming surgery and all he was focused on was his girlfriend. His beautiful girlfriend. He squeezed her hand as they walked through the small maze that led to the dining area. Sneaking about the 100th glance at her that night, he couldn’t help but grin at her beauty. Her hair was back into those rainbow braids that he loved and he found it even more dazzling that her dressed seemed to match her hair in a way. It was a beautiful multi-coloured dress that seemed to cling to every curve on her body. Yet it wasn’t too clingy to make her look like a slut-whore. It was just perfect. There really wasn’t one colour to the dress; it was more like a chameleon that changed colours every time she moved. He finally looked away from his beauty and focused on finding his sister and Hayden. Yes, he had told her all about their little fling at camp. He couldn’t help but chuckle when Sammi’s shocked face came to mind. Shaking his head he finally spotted his very pregnant sister sitting alone. Where the hell was that damn sexy surfer?

Sheena felt Mike’s eyes upon her… Again. Not like she minded. She liked the flattery, and she hoped to get some more from Hayden when they reunited. She smirked, wondering how the night would turn out after the prom. Most likely very lustful, somewhere very…. Intriguing. Just hopefully not behind a rose bush. Hearing Mike chuckle, Sheena raised a slim eyebrow with a questioning look. When she looked at him, she couldn’t help but feel elated. He looked happy… And handsome in his black slacks and striped silvery grey and blue dress shirt. When he shook his head, she just guessed that he was thinking to himself or something. So she let her own eyes wonder around the Garden grounds, searching for the sexy blonde, as well as the pregnant blonde. Spotting Sammi sitting at the table, she nudged Mike and pointed her out. “C’mon let’s go.” She began to walk at a faster pace, practically dragging him behind. “Hey Sammi!” She trotted over to her, prodding her on the shoulder. She flopped down in the seat beside her, making Mike take the seat on the other side of Sheena. “Where’s that handsome date of yours?” She grinned and winked like it was some sort of secret between the four of them.

When Hayden departed and went straight towards the buffet table, Sammi shook her head at his comment. What? She couldn’t help that she got hungry easily, and that she could probably eat a horse since she was now feeding 3 mouths instead of one. Leaving her alone, Sammi let her eyes wander across the premises, taking in the spectacular job done to the place. Yeah, they might have gone overboard with the roses but it was still nice. Her eyes often landed on her school mates and every now and then she would wave. It wasn’t until her eyes landed on the deep red shirt of her ex-boyfriend. For once, she was thankful that Leo was checking out Damian and not looking in her direction. She quickly turned her head and looked down into her lap. She knew her face had turned a deep red after seeing him. Why the hell am I still attracted to him? She rubbed her forehead in disbelief that he would actually come to THE PROM. As he walked by with Damian, Sammi couldn’t help but scowl. She gazed at the back of Leo’s shirt and was almost taken aback when he glanced back at her. In a way, she felt self conscious about herself. She knew that he saw her very pregnant stomach and she cursed herself for coming to the prom. Seeing that he sat practically beside their table, she clenched her teeth. “This is not happening… This is not happening…” She began to mumble to herself, not like anyone could hear over the jumble of happy voices. When she felt a hand touch her shoulder, she jumped with wide eyes and looked at the stranger. Blinking, she realized that it was just Sheena and Mike, so she smiled, grateful for the company. “Hey guys! You look great!”

Hayden was already halfway towards the table when he spotted a pair of gothic guys glancing over at Sammi. When they made their way towards an empty table beside there’s and saw the scowl written all over his friend’s face he knew that one of the two guys was the one who knocked her up. He took long strides over to Sammi, careful not to drop the three plates of food he balanced in his hands. When he was a few meters away from Sammi, the familiar faces of his sex toys appeared and he grinned; almost forgetting about Sammi’s unhappy expression. His pace quickened and he made it to the table in time to hear Sheena’s question. “Well, I happen to be right here.” He smirked and winked at Sheena as well as Mike. Turning back to Sammi, he put down two plates of food for her and then his own plate on his dining area. He plopped down beside her and eyed the two men at the other table, talking in a low voice to Sammi. Though, not quiet enough since Mike and Sheena were probably able to hear. “So, I’m guessing that one of those two guys knocked you up?”

The limo came to a sudden halt in front of her destination and Kelsey took one last sip of her champagne, finishing off the rest of the glass. She carefully put down the glass as she waited for Jon to make the first move to get out. She was happy to go out, away from Roxanne and the troubles of last week. And Jon's gesture to get them a limo made the night even more perfect. She smiled at him before she exited the limo and waited for Jon to follow out after her. She fixed her light green dress so that it didn’t show any signs that she had been sitting in a car of some sort. The dress looked as if it fit perfectly on her and it was held on her shoulders by two thin straps and there was also a slit up one side of the lower half just so that it was easier for walking. It was amazing that she had even willingly worn a dress or the black high-heels she had on… Normally she might have opted for a t-shirt, jeans and tennis shoes instead, but this was Prom and it was big deal. She had actually done her hair, too. The blue-ish color had almost totally faded out by now, so her hair was basically back to its original color with just a hint of the blue left. She had gotten it cut recently in layers and now it was a few inches longer than shoulder length and the tips of each layer had been curled outward a bit. She had just a bit of eyeliner on and some mascara as well. Even though it was Prom, she knew that she didn’t need to go overboard on make up or anything. Around her neck was the silver chain necklace she had received from Sammi with the guitar pick and the small tag with her daughter’s name inscribed in it.

After Jon had exited the limo, Kelsey turned around and smiled at him again. In her opinion, he looked quite handsome in the tuxedo he was sporting. She then turned back towards the entrance to where the event was to be held and she took it all in at once and she couldn’t help but admire all of the hard work and effort that had been put into it. She had to admit that she was excited to go to Prom, considering that she hadn’t gone the year before. She tilted her head back to look at Jon. “Ready to go?”

Sammi laughed at Sheena’s comment. “Why thank you. Even though I look like I’m about to burst outta this dress, I do say… I look pretty.” She smirked, only kidding. When Sheena turned her attention to Hayden, she watched Mike intently; interested in his reaction. She had never thought that her brother would be in an open relationship… But then again, she never thought that she would get pregnant. Her focus on her brother was broken when Hayden’s voice filled her ears. She stiffened at the question and the gesture towards Leo and Damian. Without looking back at the two, she nodded in response to his question. “Yeah… The one wearing the red shirt… The purple one’s his… Boyfriend.” She almost laughed at what she said. It seemed so weird to be calling Damian his boyfriend. But she held back her laughter and sat in silence as she folded her hands into her lap.

Hearing Sheena’s voice again made Hayden smile, “Not much, toots. Lookin’ fine tonight.” He winked and looked over at Mike, winking at him as well. “You too, Mike.” He was glad to be surrounded by them again. He felt as if he hadn’t seen them for weeks. Even though he saw them 2 days ago. His attention was back to Sammi when she nodded at his question. He chanced another look at the two men and picked out the one who impregnated Sammi. He wasn’t that bad looking, but he thought that Sammi could have done better. He made no comment about those thoughts and just shrugged. “You want me to beat him up for ya?” He offered with a mysterious smile on his face. He hoped that Sammi wouldn’t agree to his offer since he really didn’t feel like getting blood on his clothes.

Mike leaned back into his chair as he listened in to their conversation. He caught his sister watching him and he simply grinned slyly at her. He knew what she was thinking since she voiced her thoughts to him earlier on that day. He broke his gaze with his sister when he felt the soft hands of his girlfriend lace with his. His grin softened to a smile and he squeezed her hand gently. Turning his eyes towards the handsome surfer, Mike couldn’t help but chuckle at his wink. “Yeah, you look good as usual.” He smirked; thoughts of what tonight might lead to flooding his mind. But at the change of topics, the expression on Mike’s face hardened. He knew who this Leo was, and he would have helped Hayden beat the crap out of him if it weren’t for Sammi. Earlier on, she made him promise that he wouldn’t do anything stupid… Like shoving Leo’s face up his ass. So when they began talking about this Leo guy, he had to restrain himself from jumping him when he walked past to the buffet table. Instead, he remained silent as he glared at the lit candle across from him.

Sammi shook her head at Hayden’s offer with a small smile on her face. “Eh, don’t ruin the night. We’re here to have a good time.” She looked down at the plates of food in front of her and she felt her stomach rumble. “And to eat.” She laughed lightly until she caught a glimpse of Leo in the corner of her eye. Her eyes followed him for a moment before she forced him out of her view. She took in a deep breath and smiled, looking from Sheena and then to Mike. “Want some of my food? Hayden got enough to feed a cow.” She picked up her fork, indicating to the two plates of food sitting in front of her. She heard Mike mumble something about getting his own and shrugged, turning her attention to Sheena.

Kelsey took his offered and linked her own with it. She smiled when he had leaned down and kissed her cheek. It soon became a grin after she heard his words and a faint blush managed to creep itself onto her cheeks. “Thanks, babe. And I must say, you’re looking quite suave and handsome tonight…” She said quietly back to him and she lean up and kissed his cheek. She realized then that she felt a little taller than normal because of the high-heels she had on; they seemed to have added on an inch or so to her height. Once she heard his agreement to her question, she allowed him to lead her into the Gardens and she too was looking around for any sign of someone she would know. First, she had spotted the table with Leo and Damian and she displayed her disliking for both men with a look of disgust. Then her eyes fell on the table before the other one with twice as many people around it and Kelsey knew three-fourths of them. It took her moment to realize that the very pregnant Sammi seemed to have returned to the drama-ridden Escapade. And yes, Kelsey was happy to see her again. Yep, that would definitely be the table they would be going to. She tilted her head slightly and glanced over towards Jon. “Let’s… go over there.” She turned her gaze back to the table as she motioned towards it with her free hand.

Sheena chuckled a little and shook her head. "Nah, blacks slimming and you're lucky to have a pretty face. Everyone'll stare at that instead of you're belly." Reaching over she patted Sammi's big belly gently "No offence tykes but you shouldn't get much attention till you're born" Laughing she sat back in her chair and twisted one of her braids around her finger, feeling Mike squeeze her hand she glanced back at him and smile returning the squeeze. Hearing Hayden's words Sheena grinned. "Aren't I always?" She smiled only joking. She wasn't that conceited to say something like that and actually mean it. As the topic changed to a more serious one Sheena frowned a little seeing her boyfriend getting angry. Her thumb stroked the side of his hand as she tried to get him back to normal again. Sheena sighed in relief when Sammi told them not to ruin the night. Not for wanting to protect Leo but because she didn't want Prom to get ruined for any of them. Hearing Mike decline food she shook her head as well, she wasn't that hungry to begin with. "No thanks, Sammio, I forgot it was Prom and had some left over cake before I came. Which is why I probably look like I just threw this whole outfit together" She chuckled a little. The dress she had bought a couple weeks ago when she and Mike decided to go to Prom and her hair she had just done up and curled her braids a bit so they hung down in ringlets and spirals.

Seeing his fiance blush Jon grinned and it grew at her words. When he drew back a bit he noticed that Kels seemed to reach his neck instead of just his shoulders which made him feel a little strange. He was used to her being nice and short, but when he looked down and saw that it was just her high heels that made her taller and not some random growth spurt he smiled feeling better. His little dilemma made him realize how much more he liked short girls then tall girls. Jon also saw the table surrounded be people he and Kels knew and seeing Sammi he smiled. But then when his eyes reached her very large stomach he was surprised at how big she got. Sure he knew she was pregnant but he was still surprised that she got so big. "Whatever you want love" He smiled and headed over towards the table she motioned too.

When Leo walked past Sammi's table he could feel the hostile vibe coming from it. He rolled his eyes and went over to the buffet table. He was starting to load up food on his plate but then he stopped and put the plate down. He was getting tired of being hated by Sammi and her friends. Especially since you still love her... A small voice inside of him said. He ignored it even though he knew it was true. Turning from the buffet he walked over to the table standing next to Sammi a hand resting on the back of her chair. "Sammi, can I talk to you?" He knew Damian was not gonna be happy with what he was doing but he was starting to care less about what other people thought. He just wanted to do things and be with people that he wanted to do and be with. Not whatever made everyone else happy. He waited patiently keeping his eyes just on Sammi's face and not looking to anyone else at the table. He hoped his eyes showed the sincere want he had to speak with her.

As Sheena commented on her pretty face, she pretended to pose like a super model. She touched her face with one hand while the other hand went to her chest in mock flattery. “Aw, shucks Sheenz. You’re too much.” She ducked behind a strand of hair and waved her hand in the air, pretending to be modest and shy. “You’re totally prettier than me. That’s why you have two guys on you instead of just Mike. I mean, if you can get Hayden in on your little… Thing...” She hesitated for a moment, unsure of what the whole ‘thing’ would be called. “Yeah, well… What I meant was that if Hayden’s in on it, you know you’re either seriously hot… Or you’re just damn good at sex.” She winked and laughed when she heard Hayden’s chuckle. She felt something brush against her leg, and realized that it was Hayden’s leg…. Reaching towards Sheenz or Mike. She blinked for a moment, feeling a bit awkward being between the two. Err… Three. She shook her head in disbelief and looked at Mike for some sort of answer. All she got from him was a smirk and a shrug. She seriously didn’t want to know what was going on beneath the table. The awkward aura around her slowly cleared away when Sheena spoke again. Smiling at her friend, she pretended that she had no clue what was going on beneath the table. She had to laugh at her comment and shook her head. “You forgot about prom? Must be all the fun you guys have been having lately…” She raised an eyebrow, hinting to her what she really meant. “Besides, you look pretty. I couldn’t pull off the braids if my life depended on it. I’d look like a… I don’t know what I’d look like. All I know is that I’d look weird.” She laughed at the thought of having braids like Sheena… It’d probably look ridiculous.

Sammi’s laughter turned into a big smile when she saw two familiar faces walking towards their table. Turning her attention away from the little party going on at their table, she lifted an arm and began waving madly. Sort of like a scary maniac. But pregnant. “Hey guys!” It seemed like forever since she last saw everyone together and happy. To think about it, she hadn’t been this happy for a long time. “Seems just like old times… Except with Hayden and Mike here…” She said, sort of talking to herself. The last time she actually remembered them all being together was… The Christmas party held at Powers. Well, it was somewhat happy for what she remembered. But, was grinning like a fool so she barely noticed the scowl Mike had on his face and Hayden’s little smirk at Kelsey when they saw the two.

The happiness bubbling inside of her distracted her, so when Leo came up behind her and rested his hand on the back of her chair, she really didn’t notice. It was the sound of his voice that caught her off guard; startling her. Having his voice and him so close to her brought back familiar, happy memories which she had to push away before she got any other ideas. When she finally cleared her mind, his words repeated themselves in her head. She blinked in surprise and she looked from person to person sitting at that table. Mike’s expression was a cold one and she already knew his answer. “No.” When she looked at Hayden, his eyes were filled with wonder and amusement. Nothing like the look on Mike’s face. What the hell does he want? The one night I want to forget about things… He wants to talk? She turned and looked him in the eye, cursing him for being so serious. A part of her wanted to talk to him; drown in the sound of his voice. But then another part of her told her to stay away from him. She didn’t want to start talking to him and then blurt out that he was the father of the babies she was carrying. Staring blankly past him for at least 2 more minutes, Sammi debated with her conscience. She took one long breath and nodded in agreement. She heard her brother curse under his breath but she ignored it; wanting to know why Leo was so eager to talk to her. “Fine. I’ll talk to you, but only for 5 minutes.” She slowly got up, clearly showing that it was hard carrying so much weight. She waved to the people at her table and at the just-arriving couple. “I’ll be back in a few. If I’m not back in 10 minutes, you can kill that one.” She jabbed a finger in the direction of Damian and smoothed out her dress, waiting for Leo to lead the way.

Kelsey smiled as Jon agreed to go to the table that she had pointed out. She then walked with him as they headed that way. Her smile became a grin as she saw Sammi waving like mad in their direction. She shook her head slightly but returned the wave nevertheless, but it was a bit smaller. Once they had gotten to the table, she greeted them “Hey Sammi, Sheena, Mike…” She paused briefly between each of their names, looking at them all in turn. When she had gotten to Hayden though, she raised an eyebrow. “Annnd, blonde guy…” Since she didn’t know his name, he would just remain ‘blonde guy’ until she found out what his name really was.

When Leo arrived and had asked Sammi if he could talk to her, Kelsey’s attention was directed back towards her friend. She arched an eyebrow as she waited for her to say something. As Sammi agreed, Kelsey’s smile faded and she shot the younger boy a death glare, almost as if to say, ‘Don’t try anything funny, buddy. I know where you live!’ Yeah, she didn’t exactly trust Leo too much. She almost lost her fiancé and a friend thanks to his stupid Britishness. Sure she had gained them both back, but she just didn’t like him at all anymore. After she heard Sammi’s statement, she smirked. “Gladly…” She said under her breath. Another glare was shot Leo’s way to remind him not to keep Sammi too long, otherwise he could say sayonara to his creepy boyfriend.

Sheena smiled and was going to reply but stopped when Leo came to the table. Looking over at Mike and Hayden she decided it would probably bebest if she at least got Mike out of the vicinity of Leo. Turning to her boyfriend she rested her palm on his cheek to turn his face towards hers and get his attention. "C'mon, hun, let's take a walk there's something I wanted to show you." There was a mischievious smile on her lips as she glanced over at Hayden. "You can come too, babe" Standing she kept a hold of Mike's hand but she didn't start walking just yet. She'd wait for him to stand and actually agree to walk with her.

Leo completly ignored the two men at the table one of which he knew wanted to kill him. The other he wasn't sure about but he didn't feel like finding out. As Sammi agreed to talk with him, even if it was just for five minutes, Leo couldn't help but grin. As she was standing up he noticed she was having a bit of trouble and so, without thinking, he offered her his arm and put his other hand around her waist to help her up. Once she was standing he dropped his arms knowing she wouldn't want him touching her for long. He was about to walk off with her but then stopped hearing Sammi's comment. Turning to look back at the table he spoke. "Just a suggestion, if you kill him do it quickly. He enjoys pain a little too much." He laughed knowing exactly how much his boyfriend liked pain and it was a whole helll of a lot. Turning he caught Kelsey's eye and he arched a brow seeing her response to him. Instead of saying anything he just turned and started to lead Sammi away from teh table.

As she was standing up she felt his hands around her waist; helping her up. His hands felt so familiar, she almost let him help her all the way up. Realizing this, she was about to brush his hands off of her but when she stood, he had already taken his hands off of her. She gritted her teeth, hating the way she loved his touch against her skin. When he turned back to the table and made his comment, she raised an eyebrow with a questioning look. What? What the hell does he want?! SCREW OFF MY FRIENDS!!!! Even though she was mad at him, she couldn't help but crack a small smile. She wanted so much to just stab Damian with one of the forks on the table but she refrained herself from grabbing the fork that was calling her name beside her plate of food. Instead, she looked up and around at the faces around her when she caught the killer look Kels was giving Leo. She smirked at her friend and when Leo turned around, she gave her friend the thumbs up. Silently, she made a motion; running her index finger across her neck, the universal: "He's dead" sign. She released another small smile and waved a bye, and began to follow Leo's lead away from the table. When they were far enough, she finally spoke. Though, she never stopped walking. "What do you want?" She looked at him with a bland expression on her face; veiling her true emotions... Which was to kiss him right there on the spot.

Mike was focused on glaring at Leo, hoping that in some way it would hurt him but he was soon distracted when his death glare was turn on to Sheena. His expression softened a little bit and he raised an eyebrow, obviously upset by being interrupted with his death glare. Nonetheless, he shrugged and stood up, curious about what she had to show him. He had an idea what was to happen next since he saw the mischievousness in her smile and the invite she gave to Hayden. Reluctantly, he looked at Leo and Sammi, then back to Sheena. She’s a big girl… She can handle it. I’ll be back though…With on last death glare, he turned towards Sheena and let her lead the way to where they were going.

Hayden on the other hand, was a bit too involved with staring at the newcomers. Well, more like newcomer. He grinned when she called him the blonde guy, and opened his mouth to introduce himself. He was interrupted when Sheena told him to go with them. He shook his head and waved them away, “I’ll catch up with you guys later. I’ll keep her… I mean these two company.” He quickly turned his attention back towards Kelsey and smiled, “I’m Hayden Baxter. Yeah, I’m Sammi’s ‘date’.” He extended a hand towards Kelsey, waiting for her to shake it. He found her quite fetching. He thought that he had seen her around a few times, but had never really paid attention. Until now. Especially since she was Sammi’s friend. He was unaware that she was engaged to Jon but he still made an effort to be nice to him. Just in case.

At Hayden’s reaction to Kelsey, he rolled his eyes and smirked. He turned to Sheena, “Let’s just go… He might take awhile.” He looked back at the two new arrivals and waved, “We’ll be back soon…” Yeah right. He waited for Sheena to lead the way to their new destination; curiosity enveloping him.

Her gaze was broken from the two retreating figures of Leo and Sammi when she had heard Sheena’s voice. She brought herself back to attention by shaking her head slightly, but she reminded herself that if Sammi wasn’t back in ten minutes… Damian was a dead man. Kelsey arched an eyebrow slightly as the ‘blonde guy’ had dismissed the invite and had said that he wanted to stay. It rose higher at his slip. She ignored it though, since if could have just been an honest mistake… or maybe not, considering that he had turned his attention directly towards her. She found him attractive... but she knew that she would have to refrain from flirting considering that her fiancé was standing right next to her. “I’m Kelsey… and obviously, I’m one of Sammi’s friends.” She smiled in return and took his extended hand to shake it. Of course it was her right hand, so Hayden would probably miss the fact that there was an engagement ring on her left. Then again, she had all sorts of metallic rings on both of her hands. So the engagement one stuck out like a sore thumb. Fortunately, it was covered by the hold she still had on Jon’s arm.

The warmth of his hand felt so right, she almost leaned her head against his hand. She actually stiffened at his touch, hating how she loved it. She fought the urge to embrace him right then, right there. Instead she held her breath and crossed her arms; trying to stop her urges. She smiled at his answer, but it soon faded when he said 'beat the crap out of the git'. It seemed 10x harder to tell him. She didn't want to face him when he found out that he was the father. At these thoughts, she felt a small cramp in her belly, but she just ignored it; thinking that it was one of the babies moving.

When he spoke about the situation with Kels, she was glad that he didn't finish the sentence. She didn't want to know what it meant to him, n'or did she ever want to know. She didn't want to stir up any more memories by pressing on on that subject so she waited for his next comment when she stopped speaking. At his jumping joy, her eyes widened but then she began to laugh at his reaction. His outburst caused several eyes to look towards them, and Sammi couldn't help but smile at her... Boyfriend? What was their situation now anyway? Wasn't he still with Damian? She refused to think about that, and it helped when Leo stepped closer and repeated the words she had been longing to hear for so many months. She almost laughed at the foolish nickname he gave her but stopped herself in time so she could kiss him. She raised her hands and hooked them around the back of his neck as she kissed him. She felt enlightened by their kiss, growing refamiliarized by the taste of him. Her heart was filled with so much joy she thought it'd burst. She pulled away from the kiss and simply hugged him as a reassurance that he was there. It was a big hard since she was pregnant, but she managed a hug. She looked back up at him and grinned, "Now, I'm happy." She leaned up and kissed him again.
