Menace in Disguise
It was known around the school that Sammi O'Brien was an accident waiting to happen. Today, she walked towards an empty table with a tray full of food. She seemed to be doing fine. No tripping, no dropping any food, it was going well for her today. Too well...
Her clothes and herself were spotless from any mess also. An odd sight, but also a good sign. Being a senior in the school, and tripping onto her face wasn't a good thing. She seemed like a whole new person. A smooth, sleek, operator. In a pair of nifty black jeans, a spotless white hoodie, white flip flops, and her bag which was slung over one shoulder. After successfully making it to the empty table, she carefully laid down her tray and sat down, setting her bag down as well. What she didn't know was that the tray was on the verge of falling off the table. It didn't exactly help when she dropped one of her arms onto it heavily, causing food to be flung to the table next to hers, and behind hers. Not to mention, onto herself. It caused quite a riot, making a few students come over to Sammi. Yelling.. That was pretty much sums it all up. Most, mainly from chicks who were worried that ketchup would stain their stupid little mini skirts. So much for being a smooth operator... Last edited by Sammi O'Brien : 04-03-05 at 06:05 PM.

Leo was sitting a couple tables away with some of his friends, he hadn't noticed Sammi walking around but his head, like everyone elses at his table, was drawn to the commotion as she flung her food. Laughing and pointing at the preppy chicks that were freaking out his eyes searched for the source of the ruckus. Seeing Sammi through the throng his eyebrow arched and then he smirked turning to his friends. "Let's take advantage of the situation, mates" They grinned nodding and then casually Leo picked up his ketchup covered fries, he had this thing for ketchup, and tossed them at the closest persons head. The fries landed squarely on some blonde chicks hair and the boys began laughing as she screamed. With one last look at eachother the boys at the table started throwing food around in all directions which got food thrown back at them and soon there was an all out food war going on in the cafeteria.

In a few moments after she had started the little riot, fries came whizzing through the air; missing her head by a few inches. Wide-eyed, Sammi glanced around at the food fight occuring right before her eyes. Grumbling she picked up her chocolate milk, "All I wanted to do was eat.. Stinky people." She dodged a few more flying dinner rolls, jellow and mayonaise flying at her. After a few steps, she turned abruptly to run out of the cafeteria only to face Leo by a mere centimetres. She was so close to walking into him that he could probably fell her breath against his cheek. "Why, hello m'love." She smirked, which soon turned into a look of disgust when a glob of pudding found a spot on the back of her head.

Leo was so intent on teh food war that he didn't notice Sammi was anywhere near him at first, but his friends did and they started nudging the ones that didn't notice. When Sammi turned Leo could feel her breath on his cheek and he reached out his hand about ot push her awya thinking it ws someone else but then his eyes fell on her and he grinned. His hand changed course and rested against her waist his body flinching a bit as a clumb of mashed together tater tots hit his thigh. Ignoring the flying food for a minute he pulled her closer to him so there bodies were pressed against one anothers. His grin gew as he let his arm slip casually around her waist. " 'Ello, love" Naught two seconds after he greeted her Leo leaned down and kissed her which elicted cat calls and whistling from his friends, it seemed Leo had become a little bit of a show off.

When she felt his hand slip around her waist, she linked her own hands around his neck. The sudden kiss from Leo made her raise and eyebrow but she recovered quickly to kiss him back with affectionately. Sammi broke this kiss off when she heard the hooting and cheering coming from his friends, which made her turn and look at them with amusement. Without letting go of Leo, she smirked and shook her head, "Interesting friends y'got." She gave them a salute and grinned as a hello.

Leo blushed lightly as she commented on his friends and he relaized what they were doing but then grinned laughing. "Yes, they're a bit on the strange side of things." Almost as if too prove his point he heard several wolf whistles as Sammi grinned at them. Rolling his eyes he turned looking at them about ot open his mouth and tell them to shut up he paused as a carton of chocolate milk hit the side of his face and exploded covering him in chocolate milk. Instead of laughing his friends just grinned slyly at each other, they knew that whoever threw the milk was going to get in a shit load of trouble. Leo reached up and tossed away the milk carton ignoring the food flying in either direction. Turning back to Sammi he held up a finger. "Hang on a moment" Turning he headed towards a kid who had a bunch of milks in front of him, it looked like he had stolen them from his friends. The kid was in the same grade as Leo, he was also in his History class and on the water polo team. As Leo walked his hands were deep in his pockets and he was unnoticed as he stalked closer to the kid.

At the wolf whistles, Sammi gave his friends an amused looked. She smirked and simply shook her head at them. "Strange is always good." She smiled up at him, thinking about her own odd personality. She was about to say something else when the carton of milk smacked him across the face. For a moment she was just stunned at all the chocolate milk covering Leo as well as herself. Diverting angry eyes to the thrower, she shot him a look of daggers. Before she knew it, Leo was already heading towards the boy. She looked at his friends, confused at what Leo was about to do. So instead of saying anything, she leaned back against the lunch table behind her and watched.

Leo's friends looked over at Sammi. "You may want to sit down, you're a bigger target standing up." The teen chuckled and had to duck himself as a plate of spaghetti came whizzing past his head. His friends all laughed at him and grinning he picked up his brownie and tossed it at the guy across the table making them all laugh more. It wasn't that they were stupid, just easily amused, very easily amused.
Leo hummed 'Killer Queen' by Queen under his breath as he walked towards the table. It was always a weird habit of his to sing or hum the song when he was angry. As he walked he ignored the food that was flying and hitting him, just glad that he hadn't brought Iggy to school today. Reaching the guys table he leaned forewards taking his hands out of his pockets and resting them on the table's edge. "You know throwing milk isn't nice." He said the words calmly and cooly and the guy and his friends just looked at each other and laughed. The guy, whos name happened to be Kevin, looked up at Leo. "And what are you going to do about it, fag? Go and reapply your make up then whine to your friends." This got a big laugh out of everyone at the table but just made Leo smile sadisticly. "You, my friend, are very wrong." He stood up like he was about to leave but then instead of doing so he socked Kevin in the face. Which of course made Kevin angry and jump Leo. Since Kevin was bigger than Leo, only a little bigger though, Leo was pushed to the ground. The two then got into a very violent fist fight with Kevin's friends watching and Leo's friends watching from their table and making bets on how fast Leo would win.

Surprisingly, Leo's friend was right about being a bigger target. Just before she sat down, a plate full of butterscotch pudding hit her on the side of her face. Stunned, she slowly wiped the pudding off the side of her face and turned to the thrower. Instead of throwing something that would be soft or gooey like the pudding, she picked up an apple and chucked it at the guy's head. The apple hit him squarely on the forehead and she smirked as he looked at her in disbelief.
She rudely gave him the finger before sitting down to watch Leo. She wasn't seated for long when she saw him hit the ground. She stood there gaping at the fight. The cafeteria had quieted for only a moment before rushing over to crowd in a circle around the two. Being short, Sammi had to stand up on the table she was on to get a good look at what was happening.

Both Leo and Kevin had no idea that the food war had stopped or that there were being circled, they were too busy trying to beat the living crap out of one another. Neither were throwing insults at the other, it would waste too much breath and there was no point they both knew they hated each other. As they fought Leo was able to pin Kevin down for a moment but then he was thrown off the boy and tackled himself. It looked like Leo had spent most of his life in bar fights while Kevin was fighting more savagely, water polo was a very violent game y'kno. The two boys were actually pretty evenly matched and it was hard to see who'd win, if anyone would win at all. What was more likely that A) a teacher would seperate them or B) they would both get exhausted and collapse.

So, instead of being civilized and trying to stop the fight, Sammi cheered her man on. "Kick his ass, Leo! Teach that chocolate milk thrower a lesson or two!" Her voice rang out from the murmer of voices and a few eyes turned to look at her. It was actually quite funny. Not only was she covered in condiments and lunch foods, but she was kick-boxing the air while she cheered on Leo. She didn't exactly think that Leo would get seriously hurt, if anything she was getting quite into it. She ignored the strange looks she was getting and peered over the heads. "BUST A CAP IN HIS ASS, LEO! WHOOO!" Quite into it? It seemed like she wanted to kick some buns as well.

At first Sammi's voice didn't register in his head and he and kevin continued to brawl. But when she yelled he realized it was her and he looked up at her not sure why but his concentration broke for a moment. Seeing that he was off guard Kevin took the advantage given to him and socked Leo hard in the stomach. Not ready for the blow he gasped for the air that had been knocked out of him when he felt Kevin's fist sinking into his sotmach. The blow knocked him flat on his back and the bigger boy pounced on him clearly having the upper hand at the moment. Leo recovered enough to bring his knee up hard into the other's groin which made Kevin immedietly tense up and then roll off of him, curling into the fetal position next to Leo. The british boy just laid there breathing, or at least trying to. It seemed like the fight was over with neither being the winner but both bleeding pretty badly from cuts -both of the boys had been wearing rings- and would be extremly sore tomorrow morning.

When Leo got the wind knocked out of him, Sammi gasped and began shouting again. Well, more like screaming infidelities.
 Finally, she watched as he kneed him in the groin - which looked quite painful-, before she climbed down from the table with a chocolate milk in hand. She pushed her way through the thinning crowd, concealing the chocolate milk carefully before flopping down beside Leo. "I got you a gift." She grinned and pulled the chocolate milk out from behind her back. She looked over at the Kevin-boy, and then back at Leo, hinting the chocolate milk thing. "A little pay-back?" She smirked with a twinkle in her eyes. She was getting up off the ground when she felt a bit wet on the butt. She looked down and noticed that she sat down in a pool of ketchup. A nice touch. Leo opened his eyes hearing Sammi's voice and he just smiled weakly not really in a state to do much else. He moved his hands to the top of his head knowing that would help his breathing a bit and he kept his breathing slow, deep breaths hurt. When he could finally talk normally it was in a hoarse frog sounding voice. "Eh Sammi, love, another time...I can barely breathe let alone throw something at him and a knee in the nuts is enough pay back...believe me it hurts." Groaning he rolled over sitting up on his hands and knees the movement not helping his situation anymore actually it made it quite worse as he vomited his lunch on the ground which made the few people left around them 'Ewwww' loudly. grumbling he wiped his mouth on his sleeve and then looked over at Kevin. "Sorry about that knee Kevin, we're still on for Friday right?" Kevin groaned in an affermative tone and Leo nodded just barely. "Fabulous, now darling let's get out of her before the teachers come and say we started it all." As Leo continued to talk and keep trying to breathe he felt better and vomiting helped a bit. Chuckling to himself he stood slowly carefully not to put a hand in his own vomit. After wiping Kevin's blood off of his rings and hands on his pants he offered a hand to Sammi so they could get out of there.

Sammi gave Leo and hand up while setting the milk down on the table. Before they actually left, Sammi went over to Kevin and patted him on the head. "I hope your downstairs feels better." She saluted to him and skipped over to Leo, linking arms with him. "More like, I started it all." She shook her head at her own clumsiness and exited the cafeteria. She looked back and already saw the principal coming at full speed towards the cafeteria. Ignoring them, the principals voice boomed within the cafeteria making Sammi feel sorry for the ones inside. Hopefully, within all the chaos they wouldn't point out that she started it all. She shook the thought out of her head and looked up at Leo, "We should get cleaned up. And maybe we'll get some mouthwash for you too." She picked out a potato from his hair before opening the front doors for him so they could leave the school.

Leo chuckled and as they walked past his friends table they all started hollering and it seemed half of tehm we're chanting a very odd melody that sounded like it involved a pissed Leo. He laughed and shook hsi head a bit nodding to his compadres before walking out of the cafeteria with Sammi. Hearing the principals voice he also flinched very glad he still wasn't inside the very messed up cafeteria. He nodded at her words then chuckled when she picked a potato from his hair. "Your in need of some cleaning up yourself, love" While they walked outside he reached over wiping a glob of pudding from her shoulder.

Raising an eyebrow at his friends, she turned to him. "Nice chants they have for you." When he brushed off some of the pudding, she looked down at herself, noticing stains that she hadn't noticed before. She sighed and shook her head. "It even looks like I had a major period today." She frowned, indicating to the big red splotch of ketchup on the back of her pants. She was going to have fun washing out the stains tonight. Flicking a pickle off of her sleeve she squinted at the bright sun. "So where to? Pollute the Falls with our dirtiness, or get stains on our car seats, or walking?"

Hearing his friends chanting and then Sammi's comment Leo chuckled sheepishly. "Yes, us Brits are a bit off in the head." Grinning he ran his free hand through his hair trying to dislodge bits of food stuck in it. He kind of wished that they hadn't started teh food war now that it was over and he was covered in cafteria junk. Hearing her say the word period he blinked and got ready to run away but then he processed that she said looked like and he calmed down. When they stepped out side he closed his eyes as the sunlight blinded him for a moment. After blinking a bit he looked over at her. "Polluting's always fun, love" Laughing he stopped and put both hands on Sammi's waist picking her up and spinning in a circle spontaneously before he set her down again. He slipped his arm back inwith hers and then walked down the school steps slowly like nothing happened though he was smiling widely.

Laughing as they spun around, she held her head with one hand when she was put down; a bit dizzy. "Crazy Brit..." She shook her head and grinned before pulling off a string of speghetti that was draped over Leo's shoulder. After hearing his answer, she looked quite... Giddy. "Polluting it is then!" She did a small salute and began walking with a little bounce to her step but kept the same pace as Leo since they were linked together by their arms.
Luckily, the Falls wasn't too far from the school and was about a 10 minute walk. Soon enough, the distinctive sound of the Falls became louder and louder. Sammi was eager to jump into the water, seeing that the food was already drying and sticking to her. All the junk in her hair was almost like a gel. Her hair that was straight and silky in the morning was now hard and pointy. So when she raised a hand to brush through her hair, she found that her hair was unbudgable and killer. "Whoa.. I can kill someone with this hair." She looked quite amazed and began moving her head side to side, poking Leo's shoulder with her hair. Everytime she poked Leo with a strand of her spikey hair she asked, "Does it hurt?" or "How about that?" or "Now does it hurt?"

Leo grinned laughing when she called him crazy. As she saluted he arched a brow and walked fast enough to keep up with her. "And she calls me crazy" He mumbled under his breath to himself before chuckling. As they walked, well he walked and Sammi bounced, he kept trying to brush food off of the both of them with his free hand but giving up quickly since it was a hopeless effort.
Hearing the falls getting closer Leo sighed with relief, he didn't know his way around town all that well still and wasn't sure if Sammi was going the right way though he was careful not to say this to her. His fingers scratched his side under his shirt which was one of the only places that didn't have too much food on it it. Hearing her words he laughed and then arched a brow as his girlfriend tried to kill him with her hair. "Bloody hell! The pain, it hurts!" He removed his arm from hers and then fell over on his side pretending to be dead. It didn't really hurt but he was having fun being overdramatic.

She looked at Leo, raising her own brow "I heard that. I might be crazy but at I'm not a crazy Brit!" She stuck her tongue out at him before approaching the small path that led to the Falls. She kicked a few pebbles along the way as she pretended to poke Leo with her hair to death.
But before they could keep walking, Leo dropped to the ground from Sammi's poking. She covered her giggles with a loud, over-dramatic gasp and put her two hands on her cheeks pretending to be shocked. "No! Luffleh!!" She dropped to her knees beside him and began shaking his shoulder. "Don't die on me now!" She continued shaking him, but couldn't keep a straight face. The whole time as she was shaking him she was giggling and trying not to smile. "THE HORROR!!" She stopped shaking him and began poking him in the stomach. She began rolling up her sleeves, "Looks like I'm going to have to perform CPR!" She put her ear to his chest to 'listen for a heartbeat'. Then, she began talking to his chest, "Hello, heartbeat? Are you there?!" Again, she put her ear to his chest.

Leo had to bit the inside of his lower lip gently to keep himself from laughing at Sammi's antics finding them highly amusing. He couldn't keep the small smile off his face when she started shaking him and then talked about CPR. He let go of his lip and held his tongue between his teeth instead, just in case she was going to CPR. When she started talking to his chest he couldn't help it and he started to shudder slightly with witheld laughter. When she put her ear to his chest the boy took teh chance to open his eyes and glance down at her before closing them and acting dead again quuickly in case she looked up at him.

She saw the slight tremor in his body when she was listening to his heartbeat and smirked. She looked at his face and almost burst out laughing, but she held it back and coughed instead. "If I don't do CPR on him he might die!! I don't hear a heartbeat!" She prodded him again in the stomach again. "Helllooo!? Are you okay? CAN YOU HEAR ME!?" She poked his cheek that was smeared with pudding and held back laughter. "Don't worry, you'll be okay! Super Sam will save you!" She said it as if she were a super hero. So with that, she tilted his head back and went in to give 'two breaths'. Instead, she kissed him softly on the lips, resting both her hands on his cheeks.

Leo had to swallow hard so that he didn't start laughing as she was yellign and poking at him. He almost laughed when she called herself Super Sam but then was distracted by her kiss. After a moment his hands moved to her waist and he kissed her back letting his lips ligner before he pulled them away. "Thank you for saving me, Super Sam" He grinned laughing his arms wrapping around her waist keeping her where she was comfortable where they were for the moment.

As she pulled away she grinned and looked down at him, then faked a gasp. "It's a miracle! You're alive!" She put one hand to her chest where her heart would be and 'humbly' said, "That's what I'm here for. Super Sam is here for saving almost-dead-boyfriends-from-girlfriends-who-like-to-jab-their-boyfriends-from-really-spikey-hair." She nodded solemnly and smirked. She picked out a leaf from his hair as she gazed down at him, it seemed as if they were getting everything on them today. "That, and I'm like a monkey picking out things from your hair." She laughed and escaped from his embrace to stand up. She brushed herself off and lowered a hand for him to help him up. "The water's waiting for us." She tried to say it seriously, but just one look from her would make you laugh. Her hair was sticking out in all directions and dry leaves stuck to her clothing. And this was on top of all the crap she got on her from the food fight.
