And the World Comes Crumbling Down... Again.
One month. That was how long it had been since she had the twins. Two weeks. That was how long it took for Sammi to relive the dreadful nausea that she had previously endured 7 months ago. One day. It only took one day for Sammi to realize that her world had once again, collapsed upon her. It only took a mere 10 minutes to figure out that she was once again, pregnant. Oh, and who was the baby’s father? Was it Leo? Or could it be Damian…? Or maybe it was Hayden… Or even Blaise. But the worst conclusion could be that the father of her baby could very be, her own brother, Mike. If Mike truly was the father of her baby, she would never believe in God again. That or she would forever believe that God hated her. It was only one time… One night… One drunken night with one of her best friends and three hot males.
So walking along the streets from the hospital, Sammi stared up at the sky; wondering if there was a God. She didn’t know if she could go through another pregnancy. Hell, this time it scared the death out of her. What if she was carrying her brother’s baby? This thought of incest brought a nauseating feeling to the pit of her stomach and she had to pause and take deep breaths so she wouldn’t throw up on the clean streets of Escapade. What have I done? I’m not ready… I can’t take care of two babies… I already have one baby in the hospital hooked up to an air respirator and fifty-billion wires…I don’t need another thing to make my life a living hell. Mike can’t be the fa-… Hell! He’s my brother! He just can’t be…. Sammi took in a deep shuddering breath to hold back tears as she walked across the road; narrowly missing a honking car. She cursed the driver for not hitting her. If he hit her, her problems would be gone. She wouldn’t be standing on the other side of the street, unscathed and cursing herself for being such a slut-whore. There was no denying that title. She had slept with not one, not two, not even three guys… She slept with five guys. Oh, and two chicks. So yeah, she was worthy enough for that title. She loved children; there was no doubt about it. But she was seriously contemplating on getting an abortion. She knew that it was against all her beliefs as well as her religion but she would never be able to look into the child’s eyes if he or she was really a product of incest. She continued on with her journey towards the busy sidewalks of Downtown, Escapade. She wanted to think things over. And she most definitely didn’t want anyone to know about this second child yet. She just… She just needed to think it through. And if that meant that she had to walk across Escapade to come to a decision, than she would do it. As she walked by hordes of people coming out of stores, Sammi’s seafoam coloured eyes stared straight ahead. If anything, she looked like a walking zombie. She was walking so stiffly and her eyes were so clouded with thoughts that she barely looked like she was paying attention to anything. This was further proved when she began to walk right through wet concrete that had just been laid out on the new sidewalk. She left imprints in the concrete, yet she still didn’t even realize that concrete was slowly drying onto her flip flops and feet. Yep, she was a walking zombie. Or a Neanderthal.

Kelsey had her reasons for being downtown that day. One, she had wanted to get out for a while, two, someone had suggested that she should and three… well, she just liked the area. Sure there were the exhaust fumes from the cars and all and it wasn’t all that peaceful with the honking and crowds but besides that, a walk along the sidewalks, –even if they were crowded- looking into the shops wasn’t all that bad. So here Kelsey was, with her good mood and all. She was walking with a sort of saunter, hands shoved in the front pockets of her blue jeans, taking in the sights the downtown region Escapade had to offer. It was just one of those days for her, you know, the ones where you think nothing could go wrong. And she didn’t feel like she had anything to really worry about. She knew that Roxanne was safe at home with her cousin and Jon had to be safe, considering he was in a hospital. She hadn’t really seen any of her friends lately so she really didn’t know what they were all up to or if there was a cause to worry about them. They were probably doing fine.
Things had actually been going surprisingly smoother for her in the last couple of weeks. The whole thing with Jen still wasn’t cleared up; not that it ever would be but Kelsey could really careless about it. She had adjusted to the whole single mom thing, though. Yeah, it had taken a while… okay, maybe not all that long, but at least she was beginning to get the hang of it. And she did have a bit of help from her cousin, Raine, which was totally surprising considering that Raine didn’t really like little kids too much. Her younger cousin had said she had her motivations… Whatever those were. Nevertheless, the extra help had come in handy since Jon would still be out for the next three to four months. Well, on the brighter side, at least she was feeling better than before and she was slowly regaining the sleep she had missed. That’s what seemed to be helping the most. Everything wasn’t exactly perfect, but Kelsey could live with that. She was happy to say the least. At one point in her little leisure walk, her step faltered. Something, rather, someone Kelsey had seen about twenty paces ahead of her, stopped her. Another person who had been walking behind her ran directly into her, and as they walked away, they were cursing under their breath. Kelsey ignored the indiscreet muttering, her attention solely focused on the figure of her friend. Sammi… Even if it didn’t really seem like the same old Sammi, there was no doubt about who it was. And Kelsey could tell that something was distraught with her. What exactly, she didn’t know and there was only one way to find out what it was directly. So she began to make her way through the crowd towards her friend. When she had reached the other teen, she placed a hand gently on her shoulder, urging her to stop, even though there would be some disgruntled people around them because of it. She offered a smile before saying a very simple greeting. “Hey.”

As Sammi continued to walk, her feet left a trail of wet concrete behind her, making the pedestrians avoid the path behind her. It was surprising that Sammi didn’t notice the drying concrete between her toes and on her favourite pair of flip flops. It was making her walk a bit harder since some of the concrete was dried; adding weight to her feet. The people were eyeing her with concerned looks. Mumbling could be heard by the mobs of people around her; some concerned, and others displeased by her stupidity. The voices ceased when Kelsey came up and put a hand on the zoned-out girl’s shoulder. This caused Sammi to stop abruptly in surprise and her head slowly turned to meet the gaze of her friend. She stared at her friend for a few seconds before a slow response came out of her mouth. “Oh…. Hi…. K-Kelsey.” She was trying to get out of her frozen, protective shell and it looked like it was taking awhile for her to do that since she still looked like a zombie and she still didn’t notice the concrete caking on her feet. Maybe the news of a second baby was making her psychologically unsound. Yeah, that’s probably it. She’s a psycho.

When Sammi had stopped abruptly, Kelsey was good that the hand-on-shoulder thing had actually worked the way it had been intended for. Her smile remained, even though Sammi’s response had seemed hesitant. Maybe the other girl wasn’t thrilled with Kelsey being there. There was also the possibility that Sammi just hadn’t expected her to be there. Then again, she did have a bit of zombified look about her… “What’s up?” One of her eyebrows arched slightly, adding to the concern that had already appeared on her face. Then she shook her head, showing Sammi that she shouldn’t give a reply. “Actually, before you say anything else… Let’s get out of this crowd.” She jabbed a finger in the direction of a seemingly vacant alleyway. Okay, so it wasn’t the best place in the world… but at least they wouldn’t have to fight the crowd noise or have people running into them while they were trying to have some sort of a conversation. She smiled at Sammi, hoping that she wouldn’t object to moving their conversation else where. Kelsey, being the oblivious type that she was, failed notice the concrete that had accumulated around Sammi’s feet, nor the trail it had left behind. Well, she was concentrating more on her friend than the other things around them anyways.

Sammi’s expression never changed during the period of silence before Kelsey spoke. Her face showed no change in emotion and a wall seemed to surround her so her thoughts were well veiled. The fact that Kelsey was there had nothing to do with how she was acting. She just needed a few more minutes to thaw before she could actually be normal again. Well, as normal as can be… When Kelsey finally spoke, Sammi was already opening her mouth to say something; but nothing was coming out. She was a bit relieved that Kelsey decided to interrupt and point out the alleyway. Sort of. In all honesty, the alleyway looked a bit creepy. At this thought, she raised her own brow at Kels. “Er….” She looked at the darkened alley and back at Kels. “Nice choice to have a little chat.” She said with sarcasm clearly dripping off her words. Nonetheless, she took her friend’s arm and began to shuffle towards the narrow alley.
Maybe it wouldn’t be as bad as she thought. Maybe telling someone would ease the shock. Besides, Kelsey had been in her situation… Perhaps her friend would have some sort of advice for her… “Umm…. What’s up is that…” She scratched the back of her head; wondering how she would word things. “Well… Y’know… Wait. Um. Okay… Let me start over…” She took a deep breath and looked at her feet; finally noticing the concrete. Her face was full of surprise but she shook it off; knowing that what she had to say was more important. Concrete would wash off… Hopefully. “Well, the thing is… You’ve been in the same situation as what I’m in. Sort of.” She cleared her throat and looked up at Kelsey, biting her lower lip. “Damn it, Kels. I’m pregnant again…”

Kelsey didn’t really know why she had chosen the alleyway, of all places. Alleys were usually home to drug dealers and prostitutes, both of which made them extremely creepy. But it would most likely be better than some overly crowded shops or the equally crowded streets. Even if it was scary. So when she heard Sammi’s sarcastic remark, she laughed hesitantly. “Heh, yeah, I know.” She rubbed the back of her neck with her free hand, since Sammi had a hold of her other, before Sammi had begun to head over to the alleyway.
Kelsey waited in a patient silence as Sammi was trying to come up with the right words to explain her situation. She didn’t want to press it too much. So if the other girl didn’t want to tell her what was up, well, she’d just have to except that. Though, she did make small gestures to encourage her friend on. When Sammi did say something, she discontinued the movements. An eyebrow raised slightly as Sammi had explained that Kelsey had been in a similar situation. But which one..? There were probably thousands she could name… But, with Sammi’s final statement, she knew which one the other teen had been referring to. Now both of Kelsey’s brows had risen high and her eyes widened. She fell back a little and the wall of the alley caught her. She let the news sink in so that she could relax a little before she spoke. “Are you absolutely positive, Sammi…?” She had to ask, considering that the last time she had thought that she was pregnant, it had been nothing more than a major hormonal spike. “’Cause you know, it could just be a pregnancy scare…” She sighed; what if it wasn’t just a scare, what if it was real?

Sammi was still eyeing the alleyway as they walked towards it, hoping that they wouldn’t get raped or something along the lines of that. But, in a way, the alley was a good place to talk in private. Not many people dare to venture into the darkened alley so there was less of a chance to be eaves dropped. She made sure that they stopped close to the sidewalk and not far enough into the alleyway to be grabbed or molested behind a trash can. She was getting a bit too… Over-cautious.
After relaying her news to her best friend, she fidgeted with her hands in silence. She let the news absorb before she spoke again. She guessed that her explanation left Kelsey a bit shaken, especially when she staggered backwards. At Kelsey’s response, Sammi nodded. “Yeah… I’m sure. I took the at-home pregnancy test… And then I went to the doctor’s to confirm it…” She rubbed her temples in frustration. “It could be… But I really doubt it.” She bit her lower lip; readying herself to tell Kelsey the rest of it. “Okay, please don’t freak out… ‘Cause I don’t think I could handle it if you freaked out… But the thing is… 2 weeks back, I was at Powers with this guy, Blaise… Um. He’s sort of my new boyfriend.” She blushed, hoping that her friend wouldn’t ask her about Leo or Damian. “Well, we sort of got out of control and we went to the back room and, well…. Sheena, Hayden and Mike were in the back room and I’m guessing you know what they were doing.” She clenched her teeth, trying not to run away before she could even tell her what happened next. “And y’know… I was sort of drunk, they were sort of drunk…. And the next minute, we’re having a five-some.” She turned a beet red in embarrassment. “The worst thing is that I might be pregnant with my own brother’s baby.” She choked back a sob as tears welled up in her eyes. Saying those words aloud made her feel dirty and disgusted. It was incest and at the time, she knew it. She just followed through it because of… Peer pressure from Sheena and Hayden. And a bit of Blaise too.

“Damn…” Her reply was short and almost sympathetic. So the pregnancy was most likely real. Sammi was barely out of high school and she was already pregnant with her second child. Wow. When she heard Sammi’s request, she nodded her head to show her friend that she wouldn't freak out; no matter how bad whatever it was she had to tell her. She remembered all too well what had happened the last time she freaked out about something. Kelsey didn’t exactly want to get hit or something again. That wouldn’t be too enjoyable. As Sammi began to speak again, she remained silent. Though, she did raise one eyebrow as Sammi told her that she had a new… boyfriend? Whatever happened to Leo? She didn’t ask any questions though and continued to just listen to her friend.
After Sammi had concluded her whole explanation, Kelsey gave a low whistle. What a situation to be in. A four-some plus Sammi’s brother… well, that just made her shudder slightly. It was more of the incest that grossed her out more than the fact that there had been three other people involved. That would be like Kelsey and her older brother, Shawn… and that had already happened before, but that had been more like rape than something casual. When she had heard Sammi’s final statement, her eyes widened. Kelsey hadn’t even thought about the fact that the baby could be Mike’s. She relaxed a little so she didn’t look freaked out. She then issued a sigh, “Well, the odds of it being your brother’s baby are three to one. Something like that.” She gave what she hoped would be a reassuring smile. “I know that’s probably not the best odds… But it could always be Blaise or Hayden’s baby…” Kelsey scratched the back of her; she never was all that great with the whole comforting thing. But at least she could say that she tried.

At Kelsey’s reply, Sammi let out a soft snort. ‘Damn’ was a good way to put it… She didn’t know how she would support three people. She had to feed, shelter and settle down with two babies and herself. Sure, she had three boyfriends but how long would they be there for her? She wasn’t going to force Leo to pay child support; partially because she still hadn’t told him about Noah being his son and all. She still wasn’t sure how he would react. After his whole ‘amnesia’ thing, he’s been acting… Different. As for Damian, she really didn’t think that he would help with her kids. Maybe scare them a bit, but not feed them. Really, she couldn’t picture Damian handling kids… She could really only picture him beating a kid. As for Blaise… He didn’t know about her two other boyfriends. Nor did he know about her kids. She was afraid that those pieces of information might scare him off for good. She really didn’t want him to leave since she really, really liked him.
Sammi carefully watched her friend; looking for signs of weirded-outness. She knew that she would get some kind of odd reaction from Kels but she was surprised that Kels didn’t flip out. She was pretty satisfied with her reaction, so she smiled slightly in reassurance. She shoved her hands into her pockets and scuffed her feet against the cracked pavement. “Well, if you include Leo and Damian… Five to one…” She smiled sheepishly, and scratched the back of her head. “I sound like such a whore, don’t I?” She shrugged, knowing that she was a whore. Not like she could change that now. At her friend’s next comment, she couldn’t help but laugh. “Y’know, if Hayden was the father… I’d have a damn hot baby.” She smirked, wondering what their kid would look like if the baby really was Hayden’s. There was no doubt that the baby would be pretty sexy. Hey, Hayden and Sammi are pretty smexy people.

Kelsey blinked in surprise as she heard that Sammi had been with Damian too… She did know about Leo, of course, since she had walked in on the two at the hospital earlier that year… But Leo’s creepy obsessive boyfriend? Now that was just weird. “Holy shit.. And I thought I was bad.” She laughed, only kidding about her remark, even if she did think that it was true. Okay, so Kelsey wasn’t exactly a whore considering she didn’t have as long of a list of sex buddies. Three didn’t really qualify her for the title. Maybe if she had two or three more. But she wasn’t about to tell Sammi about her own sex life. She doubted that her friend would want to know anyways. “Eh, I don’t think you’re a whore; It’s not like you’ve been around the whole school or city.” She shrugged her shoulders; her statement was meant to be reassuring and it was also to let Sammi know that she didn’t think she was a whore. Kelsey smiled as she heard her friend laugh and she laughed too once she had heard Sammi’s comment. “There’s no denying that. You plus Hayden… Would equal one hot baby.” Her laugh turned into a snicker as she tried to imagine what that baby would look like. Definitely sexy.

Kelsey’s comment didn’t make Sammi’s embarrassment lessen. In fact, her face and ears turned even redder. “Yeah… Damian and I just… Came to an agreement. Well, with Leo’s help…” She pursed her lips together, feeling more and more like Escapade’s whore. If anything, she was just as bad as a prostitute. “My list seems to keep growing and growing… Erm and I may have had sex with Sheena’s sister too… They can be very persuasive together…” She looked away, knowing that she said too much. It’s not like Kelsey needed to know every guy she’s had sex with and when she lost her virginity. This was the time to shut up. At Kelsey’s next comment, she still felt self-conscious. “Still, I’ve had sex with a lot of people… More than what normal people have. I’m just as bad as Hayden.” She shook her head, realizing that she was probably the next Queen of Sex. “We would be the secks Royalty… Hayden’s like… The Sex King. I’m The Sex Whore.” She grinned sarcastically, wondering if her kid would be the Prince of Sex.

“Well, at least Damian's not trying to kill you or something... How is Leo, anyways?” Kelsey asked, changing the subject a little since Sammi seemed to be quite embarrased by the whole thing. One of her eyebrows arched high as Sammi mentioned that she may have done it with Sheena’s sister too. She coughed lightly to hide her surprise as well as the shudder that threatened to run down her spine as she remembered the last time she had encountered Lexx. Sure everything at first had been fine… but the ending was crummy. Let’s just say that Kelsey didn’t really like to be held as someone’s prisoner just for their delight and pleasure. She issued a sigh, “Even just one of them alone is too much persuasion… Both of them together? That’s a nightmare waiting to happen.” The shudder finally showed itself as she imagined what would have happened if she had been with both Lexx and Sheena in the same room that one day… Well, she probably wouldn’t have made it out of there.
Kelsey’s eyes widened slightly at the mention of Sammi compared to Hayden. Sure the guy had seemed horny and all… But she had no idea that he was a sex freak. “Huh, I never knew Hayden was like that…” She laughed and shook her head. Bad timing for a comment like that. She moved over to the other side of the alley so that she was standing next to Sammi and she slung as arm around her shoulders, looking over at her friend. “Anyways… I still don’t think you’re a whore. I mean c’mon, you’re a teenager.. And what do teens crave above everything else? Sex. I’ll bet it’s just a phase and it’ll blow over by the time you hit twenty; maybe even earlier.” She gave Sammi’s shoulders a light squeeze and as well as a smile of reassurance; she knew that she couldn’t guarantee that this ‘phase’ would just die out after a while, but it was a possibility. Kelsey laughed at Sammi’s comment about her and Hayden being secks Royalty. “And you two could be rulers of Sexcapade.” She added with a grin. Clever, changing the first letter of the city to sex… Hahaha, no. More like… lame x10, considering that it had probably been used before. But whatever, it worked.

Sammi laughed and nodded in agreement with Kelsey’s statement. Even after a few weeks of being on good terms with him, sometimes the realization would just hit her. They were friends… Well, and lovers… She let out a sigh and looked at Kelsey as she answered her question. “Leo… Well, he’s different. It’s hard to explain how he’s different but he just is. With his amnesia and all, he doesn’t really remember anything about Escapade. Hell, he doesn’t even remember me. But I guess it’s all right… He’s trying his hardest about it.” She let out a sigh and tilted her head against the brick wall behind her. She was glad for the change in subject. She didn’t really like talking about Leo nowadays. Now, the subject of the twins was much more interesting. “Trust me, it was… It took them less than two minutes to get me naked.” She grinned sheepishly at her very descriptive situation. But it was true. All they did was say a few words, gesture a bit, and bam. They were having an all girl ‘party’.
Seeing Kelsey’s reaction at the mention of Hayden made Sammi chuckle lightly. “That’s surprising. Hayden is definitely like that. He’s had sex with most of the female population in Escapade. And trust me, I’m not exaggerating that fact. He’s whore-ish like that.” She grinned, knowing that her friend was a bit of a sex fanatic. As Kelsey walked towards her and slung and arm around her shoulders, she smiled feeling a bit comforted. It still didn’t stop her from saying something witty though. “Oh when I’m twenty I’m just going to be an old hag, weighed down by two kids. Maybe even more if I continue this pregnancy streak.” She snorted lightly and looked down at her belly. To think, it’ll be only a matter of months before she can’t see her feet again. Joy. “Sexcapade?” Sammi’s eyes widened at the word and she burst out laughing. Come to think of it, Escapade was a pretty horny town. “Hey, we could be. We could even start a school of sex. Teach couples the best positions and the rules of good sex.” She smirked at the thought of Hayden actually teaching sex positions. He’d most definitely have fun with that.

“Damn… That must suck… Since he doesn’t remember you and all. He probably doesn’t even know he has a kid, either…” She shook her head in pity. Even if Leo was trying to remember everything, he’d most likely miss a few things. And Kelsey would be grateful if he never recovered the memories of when he had been with her. She hadn’t really been too happy about how things had turned out. Time for another subject change. “Uh… so, how’s your kiddo doing?” Hell, she might as well ask about Sammi’s kid since she really hadn’t heard anything about him. All that she knew was that he was premature but that was obvious. At Sammi’s comment about the twins, Kelsey arched an eyebrow. That was a bit more than she had wanted to know. “Good God. And I thought just one of them was fast. I couldn’t even begin to imagine what it would be like with the both of them…” She shuddered again as she remembered that Lexx had even asked her if she wouldn’t mind if Sheena joined them. And now, Kelsey was glad that things had turned sour.
Kelsey laughed at Sammi’s comment about Hayden. “Geezus, he’s made his rounds of the city…” She laughed and shook her head. Well, at least she wasn’t on his list. Yet… At Sammi’s witty comment, Kelsey arched an eyebrow. “And I needed birth control?” She laughed as she thought of the birth control that Sammi had given her before she had left for Michigan. Sure, it had come in handy at the time… but now, it really didn’t matter too much considering that Kelsey wasn’t exactly sexually active at the present time. “I think you need it more than I do, bud. Especially if you continue on with these… Activities…” She remarked sarcastically and she removed her arms from around her friend’s shoulders. She set her hand briefly on one of them before pulling away. A smirk formed as she saw Sammi’s reaction and she laughed right along with her friend. When Kelsey had heard Sammi’s next comment though, she couldn’t help put break into another round of laughing. After a moment or so, she calmed down, though she was clutching her stomach as she regained her breath. “Oh my God. A school of sex… Teens would be more interested in that than high school. Then Escapade would really be full of sex freaks, both young and old. Well, at least they’d be good at it… Right?”

At the mention of Leo not knowing he has a kid, Sammi avoided Kelsey’s gaze and turned pink at the ears. Her words came out in a squeak and she had to clear her throat before telling her the truth. “Well, err…. Leo doesn’t know he has a kid… I never got the chance to tell him. And to be honest, I like it better this way. I just don’t know how he’d react to the news if I told him.” She lowered her eyes shamefully; knowing that lying to Leo wasn’t a way to solve her problems. The sudden subject change made Sammi raise a brow but she shook it off, not wanting to question Kels about it. “Noah… He’s getting stronger. The doctors said that he could be checked out of the hospital in a week or two.” This piece of news made her smile like any other mother if they found out that their child was healthy. In a way, she felt bad, telling Kelsey about her happy news. She knew that Jon was still in a coma and truthfully, Sammi still hadn’t visited her ex-boyfriend. “So… How’s Jo-… Actually no, how’s Roxanne?” She decided that asking about Jon was a stupid thing. He was in a coma and that was obviously a boring topic. No offence to Jon or anything. At Kelsey’s exclamation about the twins, Sammi couldn’t help but let out a laugh. “They’re not that bad…” She grinned; remembering their little… Affair. It was actually pretty… Fun.
“Definitely. Oh, and I forgot to mention… He’s had his rounds with some of the guys too. He just doesn’t like people to know. He’s in the closet about it.” She winked, feeling a bit devilish today. Well, devilish in a non-secksing way. At Kelsey’s comment, Sammi let out a laugh remembering her gift to Kelsey. “Oh shush it. You did need it at the time… So did the stuff work?” She smirked, only teasing her. If anything, she needed the birth control more than ever. With three horny boyfriends, a friend and a brother… The birth control would come in handy for those unexpected events. “Yeah it’s too late now. You should have told me earlier.” She stuck out her tongue in a teasing way before crossing her arms. Kelsey’s laughter was soon joined by Sammi’s at their stupid comments about sex. She couldn’t control her laughter so she simply talked through gasps and giggles. “I don’t think… That Hayden would like other people… Being good at sexing…. He likes to be the best.” At that comment, she burst out laughing again. The thought of Hayden challenging somebody else at a sex duel floated into her mind. Dirty thoughts…

Kelsey noticed that Sammi had avoided her eyes and that her ears had gone a shade of pink, she regretted her last statement about Leo not knowing that he was father. But she didn’t say anything since Sammi had started to speak. “Well, he is only sixteen or seventeen… And I doubt that you’d want to scare him off or something.” She shrugged her shoulders' honestly, she really didn’t know how Leo would react to the news. Before he had lost his memory and all, he may have been freaked out about it… but she didn’t know what he was like now. She smiled as she heard that Noah would be getting out of the hospital soon. “That’s awesome. Good luck trying to find some time to sleep…” Kelsey knew all too well how babies could keep their parents from getting much needed rest. Loads of demanding crying. When she had heard Sammi begin to ask about Jon but then she had stopped herself and asked about Roxanne instead, Kelsey arched her eyebrow. Well, it wasn’t like there was anything to tell about Jon anyways. On the other hand, there were some things to tell about her daughter. “Roxanne’s doing alright. She’s beginning to crawl and talk now… But she keeps calling me ‘dada’…” Kelsey made a face to show that she wasn’t exactly thrilled with this but she knew that Roxanne would get it right… Eventually. However long that would be. After Sammi’s comment about the twins, she only shook her head. She didn’t really have the desire to continue any discussion about them.
Hayden with… guys? Well, that bit of information was more surprising than the stuff before it. Her eyes widened slightly, “I would have never guessed that he played both sides of the track…”To her, he had seemed like he was the straightest guy she had ever met. After hearing her friend’s comment/question, Kelsey raised an eyebrow. Sure Sammi had only been teasing her, but she couldn’t resist replying with sarcasm. “Obviously it worked. I’m not exactly pregnant now, am I?” Well, duh, she wouldn’t be. She hadn’t really done anything remotely sexual for… months. Kelsey would have probably said more, if some random person hadn’t shown up out of nowhere and interrupted their conversation. This person or woman rather, was clad in virtually nothing. Just an awfully short skirt, tube top and… hooker boots. She looked like someone had picked her straight out of a garbage can. In other words, she was a prostitute. “Are you two gals lookin’ for some fun?” She had an accent that sounded strangely Southern. Kelsey glanced over at the prostitute and then turned back to Sammi with one of her eyebrows arched. Since when did hookers look for other women?

Nodding to Kelsey’s reply, she realized that she was hiding this information from Leo because she was protecting him. She didn’t want to force too much info on him since he barely remembered her. So she let out a soft sigh and was grateful that they got off the subject of Leo. She wiggled her toes and watched as some of the dry concrete crumbled off of her toes. She looked back up at Kelsey when she mentioned sleep. “Thanks. Maybe I can get some narcotics and sleep through the crying. Mike can have the night shifts.” She smirked, knowing that Mike would be willing to take care of Noah. He was good with kids and people in general. Though, at the thought of Mike; her happiness was dampened by the fact that he could be the father of her next baby. She forced the ugly thought out of her head and made herself smile. Sammi was laughing when she heard about Roxanne’s mistake in parents. She patted Kelsey on the shoulder and smirked. “It’s alright; soon she’ll figure out that you’re not a man. So, does she call Jon ‘mama’?” She grinned, finding the subject quite… Hilarious. She had to start rubbing her stomach from the soreness her laughing had caused.
Sammi was about to reply to Kelsey’s comments when she heard a Southern drawl ring through her ears. She raised a brow and looked over at the female with the skimpy outfit. Her upper lip curled into a look of disgust as she avoided looking down at the female’s half naked body. “Um, no? Shouldn’t you be back at your trailer or something? It’s broad daylight… You’re gonna scare the kids.” She jutted her thumb towards the busy sidewalk. She crossed her arms; obviously not happy at the interruption. She actually looked like she was going to beat the crap out of the prostitute. She looked at Kelsey with a roll of her eyes, and waited for the prostitute to say some sort of bitchy reply.
